1. Purpose of Document

 This technical document covers the activity of LTE X2 ADDITION in the SRAN’s for Circles.
The purpose of this document is to describe the actions needed for addition of X2 in ZTE SRAN’s.

2. Objective

 The objective of this MOP is to provide the user as to how to perform LTE X2 ADDITION in
SRANs.

3. Scope
 The scope of this process document is to present the process LTE X2 ADDITION in SRANs,
which is to be observed by SNOC, for ZTE based circles and Corporate Team.
 This process is for Vodafone Managed Circles Only.

4. Resources

 NetNumen Applications via SRAS.

 BSS Engineer should be technically equipped for SRAN activity.
 SPOC’s details ( Circle & SNOC)

5. LTE X2 Addition

5.1 Pre-requisites

 Pre check the plan in day time. (SNOC Responsibility).

 SRAN should be in healthy condition. If any critical/major alarms reported same shall be escalated
to INM/Circle team immediately for rectification
 CR needs to be approved from all concern before 17:00 hrs.
 Activity Owners should be technically equipped to perform the activity.
 All changes should be done through SRAS.
 CR data should be as per attached format.

5.2 5.2 Pre execution checks.

 Take a Pre check before the activity

 If any critical/major alarms reported, shall be escalated to INM/Circle team immediately for
rectification before activity.
 Coordinate with all involved team ( BSS, and RF) for their readiness.

5.3 Detailed Job Description

 LTE X2 ADDITION is the process of doing the of new X2 addition etc.
 The LTE X2 ADDITION is done via NetNumen.

Go to Configuration Command:

SRAN END

Step 1: Start the OMMB Subnetwork of NE and choose configuration Management.

Step 2: Select the NE ,apply Mutex and export public Template

Step 3: Check the IP paramater link number of User plane IP address

Step 4: Add SCTP with target eNode B User Plane IP
