Import Conditions :
1. Import Licence shall be sought from the relevant Ministry in Malaysia.
4. Consignment shall be inspected and certified free from soil, pests, diseases, weed seeds contaminants and
regulated articles by National Plant Protection Organization (NPPO) of exporting country.
5. Upon arrival at Malaysia entry points, the consignment is subjected to visual inspection examination or
analysis by Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services Department (MAQIS) inspector prior to import clearance.

Other Requirements :
1. MAQIS officer(s) will take sample base on signs of infestation on the consignment at the point of entry.
The sample will be sent to the Biosecurity Screening Unit Serdang, Selangor, Malaysia for screening of pests,
diseases and regulated articles.
2. If any pests, diseases and other regulated articles are present during the further screening process,
Department of Agriculture (DOA) Malaysia reserves the right to suspend future importation, until the cause of the
non-compliance is investigated, identified and rectified to the satisfaction of DOA Malaysia.
3. All cost incurred during screening activities will be borne by the importer.
4. All re-exported consignment must be accompanied by a PC from the country of origin and a re-export PC from
the re-exporting country.
