URGENT CIRCULAR

Based on the medical advice of the Covid Response Committee and extensive
consultation with the Board and the management, this is to inform you that,
IUB will begin the Spring 2022 Semester by holding virtual classes starting
on Sunday, 23 January 2022. Classes will be conducted ‘Online’ on all days for
Undergraduate and Graduate programs as per the class schedule. The earlier
decision for physical reopening of the campus is hereby held in abeyance.

Meanwhile, the University will continue to regularly monitor the Pandemic

situation and the associated government and UGC directives, and will attempt
to resume physical classes as soon as the condition becomes favourable. You
will be notified and given reasonable preparatory time when asked for physical
attendance of classes.

The students who are yet to take any vaccination are encouraged to continue
efforts to secure at least one dose of vaccine so that they can attend the classes
physically when asked to do so by the University.

You are also advised to regularly check the IUB Website to update yourself with
the latest instruction from the University.
