TITLE: FP&A Analyst


DEPARTMENT: GBS Bangalore

REPORTS TO: Senior Manager Record-to-Report

In this position you are part of the Finance GBS Accounting Team and
WORKS WITH: work closely with the local and Regional finance teams and CFOs as well
as with other business partners.

Primary responsibility is to support financial planning, forecasting and


reporting activities.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering timely, accurate and


impactful management reports and analyses to business partners. This
PURPOSE OF POSITION: includes both the monthly standard reporting package as well as ad hoc
analyses informing business decisions.

Communication and (internal) stakeholder management with higher


management levels within the Global Teva organization is required in
this process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Support financial planning and forecasting process for to ensure a timely, high quality submission;
 Preparation of reports and presentations of performance and key performance indicators.
 Maintain information to track market performance.
 Support monthly business closing and review for Business Unit
 Analyze monthly performance vs budget, vs prior year and support forecast
 Instruct and coach markets to prepare high quality information for the AOP.
 Analyse, control and follow up with countries to meet agreed targets and to have high quality plans.
 Support close process and support countries with technical and process issues.
 Ensure full compliance with all Financial guidelines.
 Support countries in process improvements and performance improvement plans.
 Identify issues & design improvement plans to support regional markets.
 Be an effective back up; provide ad-hoc business support on business cases and projects.
 Process documentations and certifications – will have to ensure that all process are appropriately
documented and periodically certified by team members on regular basis.

PERSONAL PROFILE

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
 University education in Accounting or Finance required
 CA preferred
 Minimum 4 years of experience in FP&A functions, preferred within Pharmaceutical Industry
 Strong analytical skills and ability to work and develop complex data models
 Strong excel skills
 Experience working with Hyperion/HFM and, Essbase is a plus
 Good process skills to manage and improve complex processes cross functional.
 ERP knowledge of Oracle Financials or SAP CO/FI or Business Intelligence programs is a strong plus
 Experience in fast-paced multinational matrix organization
 Strong change management, communication and influencing skills
 Fluent verbal and written communication in English, Other language is a plus
 Hands-on and proactive; strong organizational skills
 Results driven and service oriented to internal and external customers
 Ability to work effectively under pressure
 Excellent collaboration with colleagues within the local organization and with the colleagues of the
global business service to support the overall Finance department’s goals and objectives
 Flexible and able to work in a changing environment
 Strong focus on improvement opportunities
 Want to work in a new (to be) established team

JOB CONDITIONS:
 Location is based in Bangalore
 Ability to travel within & outside India when required
 Flexibility to work in shifts
