UNIT TOPIC: Subject-Verb Agreement

CONTENT STANDARD:
The learners demonstrate understanding of the subject-verb agreement.
Understand the rules in composing a sentence and apply it on their everyday lives and for future uses.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
1. recall the subjects and verbs in a sentence, and the meaning and uses of the subject-verb agreement.
2. identify the singular and plural subject and verb in a sentence.
3. compare the use of singular and plural and apply it in constructing a sentence.
4. build and construct sentences in which the subject and verb agree.

The two of the groups will choose a representative.

I will give the two groups two board each, where one of the boards will be handed to the representative and
the other one is to the groupmates.

After flashing the 3 sentences, A B or C, two representatives will choose an answer.

The answers must match.

If you both got the correct answer, 2 points will be added.


If only one answer is correct. Only 1 point will be added to the group’s score.

The team that will get the highest score will receive a price.

The students are writers who will submit it short story for their Second Quarter requirement.
The topic of your Story possesses right grammar that uses the subject-verb agreement. The story should
picture out your “life during this pandemic”. The short story will be checked by your subject teacher in
English based on the: originality, proper use of subject-verb agreement, and plot of the story.
TRANSFER GOAL FORMAT: The students on their own and in the long run will be able apply the proper use
of subject-verb Agreement.
