Project Planning Template

To help you structure and organize your project, use this project planning
template as a guide. You may want to sit down and meet with your project
team and fill this out together so everyone is on the same page and knows
what is expected of them for the project as well as the due dates for their
tasks so they can put those dates in their calendar and set up reminders for
themselves to stay on track.

Project Title: What is the title of your project?

Time to Reset and Restart.
Project Description: Provide a description of your project.
The project is aim for help our front-line workers remember that they
matter, and that mental strain will be strong in high stress environments.
This project will help our front-line workers to help take a mental check in
and help them after they have done so much during this pandemic.

Project goal: What outcome will this project provide? What are your
specific goals?
The outcome is to have our frontline worker to realize that they matter to
and that is it okay to have time to decompress along with to recharge
mentally.
My specific goals are that people that suffer from mental strain need a
healthy and safe way to express this outlook before they are burned out.
In this workshop I want to be able to create stress balls, have soothing
music in the background, having coloring pages and mediation in the
background.

Project rationale: Why is this project important to you, to your

organization, or to the community?

This project is important to me because during this pandemic the impact

that our front-line workers have experience and the sacrifice they have
made can not be expressed. My current role has enabled has brought me
firsthand in the sacrifice and the call of action they have taken to be away
from there family along with there love ones. The mental strain is
expressed by many and my project is to help them realize that it is okay
for self-reflection and that it is okay to recharge themselves.

Project scope: What parameters will you be working with to achieve your
goal?
I will hopefully be working with my target group of Front-line workers and

make sure that they realize they are people to. That it is time to reset and
restart by putting on a mental health workshop.
Project process: Identify the process for implementing your project (the
what, who, how, when, and where)
What of the project is the catchy title is to grab the attention of our front
line workers to stop on by from there long shift to breathe and to relax a
bit.
The Who is not only going to be staff but also myself to help with the
operations.
The how is the information being presented for coping with stress and
provide a safe environment to express this mental strain by using coloring
templates, create stress balls, have soothing music in the background, and
mediation in the background.
The when and where is hopefully going to be on June 4th 2021.
Project deliverable: Define what’s going to be delivered (event, product,
proposal, etc.)
Materials for the stress balls, and copies of the project proposal given to
different members of staff, tables, chairs, etc.
Project resources: Identify all the necessary resources that will be
needed to create and deliver the project
location, Materials for the stress balls, coloring books, mats, music and
any last-minute items.

Project limitations: What factors will limit your ability to complete the
project, and how will you mitigate those factors?
I believe the time frame of the project deadline might be a factor since
putting on workshops in this short timeframe is a process to pass through.
Another factor might be the communication between members of staff
since we are at an active work site so this workshop will be happening in a
short time frame.

Project timeframe and deadlines: What date will your project be

completed? Determine all deadlines for the project. You will want to have
your project completed by Week 5 or 6 of the course. Week 7 is when your
project showcase will be due.
My goal is to have the project completed by week 3 or 4 if everything goes
as planned.
My deadlines are the following:
June 4th, 2021

Criteria for Success of Project: What constitutes a successful project?
How will you measure success?
That during the project there is plenty of open communication between
members of last-minute changes that can occur and being able to adapt to
that fast change. Being happy or content with the result and reflecting on
if the same event was put on in the future what would change and be
implemented differently.

Project implementation strategy: How will you ensure the members of

your team accomplish their tasks and responsibilities? What worst-case
scenario will you plan for? How will you ensure the project gets completed?
I will ensure that tasks are completed by the check ins and the update
from the emails that will be sent out during the project. Worst case
scenario is that the time frame of the project can not be completed and I
have a backup project ready just in case.
