Team Culture
• Wanted a small workshop to help
the work team to relax from stress
• Team could see a picture of what I
wanted to do and gave inputs to the
product
• Honest and truthful in what was
needed for the project to become
successful
Diversity and Inclusion
• Within our Team there were many different backgrounds with many different
ideas to approach our workshop
• My focus as a leader was to speak with our group and receive everyone input
• Main goal was to make sure everyone felt that there voice was being heard.
Conflicts & Obstacles

• Deflection of team members that did not want to gather materials instead wanted to do other tasks.

• The issue of compromise came in the form of switching people to tasks that were needed by them with
having a fair way of assigning tasks to all members.

• This course has taught me different formats in which leaders lead their team effectively and what steps are
taken to repair any issues that deviate from the main goals.

• Different styles of leadership did clash in the beginning of planning and during the workshop when we ran
out of material.

• To correct this issue some team members improvised to correct the lack of material of kinetic sand to rice
and sand.
Ethics, values, & Social Justice Principles
• Practice ethics and values by being fair, honesty along with being tough when
the need arose to be.
• Being there and receiving everyone input for tasks at hand made everyone
cooperation much easier.
Self-Reflection
• What I have learned that will stick with me has been the different concepts of leadership
and what it means to be a leader within a group. Learning about different ways a leader
needs to lead a group is key to the success of the project along with the team end goal.

• Stated by Northouse(2018) a leader should make sure the outcome that individuals
expect from their goals is achievable and will likely occur. A leader must be aware of what
outcome individuals expect.” The end goal of the project will only happen if the goals
become one.
