Context

In every school and any educational institution, it has been observed that teacher’s
behavior really plays a vital role and it has a great effect on the academic performance of
students. Teacher’s behavior encompasses all the verbal and non-verbal behaviors
demonstrated by a teacher in an effort to impart education within an academic setting.
Teacher’s beliefs, practices and attitudes are important for understanding and improving
educational processes. They are closely linked to teacher’s strategies for coping with
challenges in their daily professional life and to their general well-being, and they shape
student’s learning environment and influence student motivation and achievement. With
this, teacher’s teaching strategies especially in teaching Science subject are crucial for the
success of both teacher and students. A teacher’s influence, ideas and expectations of
his/her student’s capabilities have an effect on student academic performance and
achievement.
Experience

It has been said that there is no single perfect strategies. It is always based
on the kind of learners that we have. So it is our part teachers to keep on
strategizing and conceptualizing to achieve better learning.

In my eight years of teaching I have learned that choosing strategies will be


based on the kind of students, example you can’t use some strategies used in
a homogeneous section in a heterogeneous section because it might be too
difficult. So we teachers will plan it out to achieve learning and make
learning fun and lifelong.

Reaction

It is our prime duty teachers to make learning happen. We should explore so


that we can impart knowledge because we cannot teach what we don’t have.
We should not be afraid to embrace the fast changing world, thus we will
continue exploring so that we will be able to cope up with the demand of
time.

Our strategy today might not be effective as time goes, so just keeps the
passion burning for the betterment of our students.
Application

Education does not end up with knowledge but action according to


Aristotle

Applying the learned strategy will keep us grow. Wither we like it or not upon
application of a certain strategy we will keep on learning that we might adjust
it to the need of our students and that adjustment is what we called
INNOVATION. Innovation is a product of untiring desire, passion, to keep the
educative process meaningful a successful.
