 There are 3 codes used Internationally that relate to Medical Gas.

1- HTM02-01 – United Kingdom (supersedes HTM2022 & HTM22)

Used in various countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

2- EN ISO 7396-1 (supersedes EN 737) European code.

Used in parts of Europe with local country variations.

 NFPA 99 (C)– (supersedes NFPA 56F & 56K) United States.

Used in various South American and Asian countries.

• HTM 02-01 (2006) has 2 parts.

– Part A Design Installation, Validation, and verification.

– This has 188 pages Comprehensively covering:

• Source equipment, Manifolds, Liquid Oxygen systems, compressed air Vacuum
and AGS systems.
