AVINASHI FLYOVER / UPPILIPALAYAM FLYOVER 2
It is a roundabout in Coimbatore that connects Northern and eastern parts of the city.
This flyover is one of the most interchanges in coimbatore and it is crucial caring traffic
from each side.
It is the second flyover built in TamilNadu.
It was the first grade separator in India to have a roundabout.

● In this, we will be collecting an approximate number of vehicle using the flyover, and the
traffic analysis will be done by our team using the collected data.
● Then this data will be shared with an eminent architect in Coimbatore for his/her
feedback.
● After this stage, we will have a bigger picture about the roundabout.
● Then we will proceed with asking the public about this roundabout. A basic questionnaire
will be generated after discussing with the architect.
● The work / survey includes, finding number of vehicles in a specific time, routes
most of the vehicles uses at that time, etc.
● The major objective is to find the pros and cons of this roundabout.
● The intention is to find beneficials or flaws in the design in the roundabout.
● After discussing with the Architect(s), we will be preparing a questionnaire with
basic questions and get the feedback from public.
We have collected a list of Coimbatore district officials with whom we have planned
to ask for permission to proceed for the project.
