The respondent’s answer (translated in English)

Dan is the salon hairdresser I interviewed; she works in the salon or
provides home services.
For her, chemical hair straightening is more focused on straightening the
hair, and it only lasts 4 to 6 months, with some customers returning for
another session. According to my research and reading, chemical hair
straightening only lasts for 4-6 months.
Yes, she straightens her hair every day, but without the use of chemicals,
just to look presentable with the customers, and because she works in a
hair salon, her hair should look decent and pretty as well. I completely
agree, because she needs to look presentable while working.
In her list of services, he includes hair relaxing or chemical hair straightening,
hair rebonding, and keratin treatment or Brazilian straightening.
It gets rid of curls, frizz, and extra volume while leaving you with
straighter, smoother hair that always looks natural.
LEARNING ACTIVITY 1.1.1
I can say I totally agree with (name) about chemical hair straightening as I’ve
read the modules and did some research about it. She straightens her hair
to look presentable in front of her customers and for me its up to her
whether she wants use chemical products on her own hair or not because it will
cause damage if done frequently. If the customers wanted to chemically
straight their hair she will just obey cause that’s her work and a professional
calling and choice of the customer.

LEARNING ACTIVITY 1.2

Answer:
“A hair shaft without its cuticle is a fresh lumpia without its wrap cover.”
-Because the cuticle serves to protect the hair shaft, when it is stripped away,
the hair shaft would become vulnerable and soft, relatively close to a fresh
lumpia wrapper.

LEARNING ACTIVITY 1.2.1

Answer:
Hair relaxing, also known as chemical straightening, is the process of
breaking protein bonds in the hair. Curly or wavy hair becomes straight
when a certain number of bonds are broken. However, as simple as that
sounds, a professional's application is critical to its success.
