The following exercises will guide you through the functionality of Process Intelligence and
provide an introduction into the most important widgets. After the deep dive, you know how
Signavio Process Intelligence works.
PROCESS ASSUMPTIONS
The process we will be analyzing is a very basic Order-to-Cash process of a small online shop
for textiles. To facilitate the training the following assumptions have been made:
SECTION 1: PI USE CASE QUESTIONS (PLEASE USE OUR PI INVESTIGATION FROM THE BOOTCAMP)
Create a new Investigation called “[Your Name] SPI Bootcamp Homework“ in a workspace
and process where the eventlog and case attributes are available.
Q1: Explore the process flows in the process discovery widget (add the widget if not
available yet). Add activities and sequences. How often is a t-shirt printed directly after
order cancellation?

Q2: Add a breakdown widget (attribute type) with the average cycle time as input and
group it by city. Which city has the highest average cycle time?
