FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT 3
Egyptian Architecture

INSTRUCTIONS:
• On a A4 size bond paper / water color paper. Draw one architectural structure on each Tomb type during
the Egyptian Civilization.
• Provide the following at the bottom of the drawing:
Name of building:
Architect:
Location:
• Identify each part of the structure and the material used.
• Identify what era or period.
• Explain the elements and understanding on the architectural character about the chosen structure in 10
sentences (handwritten).
• You should not use the photo/ reference from your lecture.
• Use the techniques learned in your Visual Communications 3 & 4 (use watercolor).
• Cite the reference.
• Should have further question you may contact your professor.

SUBMISSION:
1. If submission is by email: (for Total Analog Learning)
• Indicate the Formative Assessment number and Week number in the email subject line
• (e.g. Week 11 Formative Assessment)
• Attach the file of the Formative Assessment (in pdf format)
• Using your official FEU student email address, send your email to the official FEU email
address of the faculty member
• Wait for the accomplished rubrics (with your grade for the assessment) to be sent by your
professor

2. If submission is by Canvas: (for Mixed Online Learning and Asynchronous Online

Learning)
• Submit the document (in pdf format) in the thread created for the said assessment in the
Assignment tab in Canvas
• You can view your grade for the assessment in the Grades tab in Canvas, a few days after
the submission date

IMPORTANT:
1. Files should be submitted using the official FEU email address (student and faculty member)
2. Scan drawing or take a picture of your assignments and save in pdf format
3. Only files in pdf format will be allowed for submission
4. Submissions not complying with any of the requirements will not be accepted
5. Deadline for submission is to be strictly observed (late submissions will not be accepted)
