INTENDED USE :
This reagent kit is intended for the “In Vitro “ quantitative
determination of Potassium in Serum. LINEARITY :
This procedure is linear upto 7 mEq/L. If values exceed

taken to avoid any contamination. All g lasswares being used

Wavelength : 630 nm
Cuvette : 1 cm
Reaction Temperature : RT
Zero setting : Reagent blank
Reagent volume : 1.0 ml
Sample volume : 20 µl
Incubation time : 5 mins

Abs. S

QUALITY CONTROL :
It is recommended that controls be included in each set of assays.

NORMAL VALUES :
Serum/Plasma : 3.5 - 5.5 mEq/L.
It is recommended that each laboratory establish its own normal
range representing its patient population.
