Education is the act of learning things around us.

It helps us to easily understand and

deal with any problem and makes balance throughout the whole life in every aspect. Education
is the first and foremost right of every human being. Without education, we are incomplete and
our lives are useless. Education helps us to set a goal and go ahead by working on that
throughout the life.

Education should be a right, indeed. Everyone deserves to learn, to be educated. Every

child regardless of nationality, gender, age, race, and country has a right in education. Actually,
some of people of the world classifies education as a right. Most of the world has received an
education as well. But for some reasons, in this case, would it be applicable? Can we still apply
“education is a right” in this generation where money is all we need? In this generation where
money revolves the world.

Education should be a human right. Many people do not understand the significance of
education and think it’s a waste of time. They do not send their children to school, rather make
them work at home, or in some small place. There are other countries that still ban girls from
receiving an education. In this society, some people didn’t get a chance or opportunity to learn
in school or to be educated because of poverty. Lack of money is the main reason why
education is now a privilege. In our society, where people always need money just to be
success in living. Education should be a right because it’s a law according to 1987 Constitution
Article XIV that everyone shall the right to take appropriate steps to make such education
accessible to all. But if education is a right, according to the law, so I expect some parents
should be in the prison now because they can’t access their children to go to school because of
suffering in lack of budget. If education is a right, I wish all of us can go to schools without
worrying in money. In our society, where tuition fees are much expensive than electricity and
water bills, where allowance in school are much expensive than food budget. Where schools
can’t accept you if you don’t have money. If education is a right, then I wish that some of
children don’t need to look in the garbage if there’s a book or anything that helps them to learn.
If education is a right, then I wish some children don’t need to beg a chance just to give them an
opportunity to educate themselves. If education is a right, then I wish that all of us can reach
what we’ve deserve. There’s no child begging that they want to go to school. There’s no child
need to get jealous because they can’t go to school even if they want. I also thought education
is a right, I’ve always thought. Honestly speaking, We, the ones who have money, the ones who
can afford education can access the phrase ‘Education is a right’, but them, the ones who don’t
have money access ‘Education is a privilege’. We cannot blame them that they’re poor, and we
also always can’t blame the government because they’re also trying their best.

Education should be not a privilege but the reality does say that case. It’s a rare kind of
thing, that even if someone gives it to you, you don’t necessarily have it. You have to earn it,
even if it’s a given. Yes, indeed education SHOULD be a right.

Education is a right, we must prove it. By helping the government to empower this
advocacy we can erase the thinking of people that education is a privilege. If we will unite and
just listen to the screams of children shouting, they want to study we can make things better.
They said youth are the hope of our country. If we help each other we can make. WE WILL
MAKE IT.
