Let’s go back to the 90’s!

The 1990’s by Jessica Park

In the 1990’s, a lot of my friends had TVs in

their bedrooms. Tvs and other electrical items
such as games consoles and DVD players
weren’t expensive, I had a CD player in which
I listened to music. In our house we had a
computer, but I didn’t use it, however, my
favourite gadget was the DVD player. On
fridays, my mom let me watch any movie I
liked; my choices were always the same…
Mulan, my favourite cartoon about the
chinese warrior who saved China from the
Huns. As we rented the movies, sometimes
Mulan wasn’t available so I chose a comedy
film like The parent trap. At midnight on
Saturdays, my dad was in control of the DVD
player, so he chose either action films like
Terminator, or science fiction films such as
Matrix.
On special days such as Mother’s day, my
mom took control of the movies we watched,
her choice was always romantic movies like
Titanic or 10 things I hate about you.
