11:24a 10:00 Activity 1: Giant Tic-Tac-Toss

(Ensure everyone knows how to play tic-tac-toe and explain if not)

Split the class into two teams. One team is X and one team is O. Each kid gets a turn
putting on frisbee down to try to help their team win. Play multiple games until each kid
has gotten a chance to play a frisbee.

After the games are over:

"Winning tic-tac-toe isn't easy. Did you feel like playing as a team made it more or less
tricky?"

11:34a 3:00 Activity 2: Big and Small Trivia

"Let's play true or false. I'm going to say a statement. If you think it is true, make an O
with your arms (demonstrate). If you think it's false, make an X with your arms
(demonstrate). Ready?

-The biggest pizza ever made weighed about 26,000 pounds. (true)

-The tallest dog ever recorded was five feet tall. (false, more than seven feet tall)

-The largest ukulele ever made is more than thirteen feet long. (true)

There are some really big things out there in the world! There are some really small
things, too.

How small do you think the smallest paper airplane was?

It was just a little bigger than one millimeter long! That's tiny- about the size of your
belly button!

These are just fun examples to talk about, but when it comes to us and the things in
our lives, big or small, it all matters to God."

11:37a 7:00 Bible: Job's Blessings
Let's turn to Job 42:1-6 and 10-17.

We've been talking about how Job has faced some really tough stuff. Job remembered
how powerful God is and that God sees the big picture. Let's see what happens next.

(Read Job 42:1-6)

Job realized that God can do anything. The things he was questioning God about
were too compicated for Job to understand but he now really sees how amazing God
is.

(Read Job 42:10)

How much did God give Job?
That's right, twice as much as he had before. Let's open these surprise boxes to see
all the things God gave to Job as we continue to read.

(Open box 1 and read Job 42:11)

What's in this box? -- Money and a gold ring!

(Open box 2 and read Job 42:12)

What's in this box? -- Sheep, camels, oxen, and donkeys!

(Open box 3 and read Job 42:13-15)

What's in this box? -- A brother and sister, Job had more children!

(Open box 4 and read Job 42:16-17)

What's in this box? -- A happy older man! Job lived a long and happy life because God
blessed him after all the bad tuff that happened.

Was Job's faith in God simply based on what God would give him?
No! Job had a new undertanding of God. God always took care of him.

11:44a 3:00 Big Idea: No problem is too small for God 4-5
Can someone read the big idea that is on this poster board?
Since we are learning about big and small, I decided to put it kinda small on this big
poster.
Maybe someone can come up and use this magnifying glass to read it.

(Someone reads it)

Awesome. Let's all read it together from the slide.

**Slide 4 should be up before big idea is revealed and then show slide 5 for class to
read together**

11:54a 10:00 Object Lesson: Problem Bricks
Hand a lego and permanent marker to each child. Instruct them to write a problem
they have on the tape that is on the lego. Give examples if they seem stumped (didn't
make a sports team, struggling with a certain subject in school, argument with a
friend) Once everyone is done, have them connect their legos together into one big
piece.

"This pile of legos looks like a whole lot of problems. Can we solve them all on our
own?
Nope!
Our God is so big, even this big Lego tower is not too big for Him. No problem is too
big or small for God.

12:04p 5:00 Scripture: Mark 10:46-52

Let's open our Bibles to Mark 10:46-52 and follow along. (Read the passage)

We just read about Jesus healing a blind man named Bartimaeus.

Bartimaeus knew Jesus was able to help hijm see. DId he wait quietly for Jesus to
walk by him?
No! He shouted Jesus' name for help.
Why did Jesus help him?
Because Bartimaeus had faith.
Can someone tell us what faith is?
That's right. It's believing that God will take care of us. Even when we may not be able
to see clearly what God is doing, our faith helps us continue to be sure that God is
working to do some amazing things in our lives.
Who can we call out to when we need help?
Jesus!!

12:09p 5:00 Memory Verse: 7-8

Have the kids who think they have memorized the verse come up to the stage with
their backs towards the screen so they cant see the verse.
When they are lined up, go down the line and have them recite the verse. If they did it
(or get very close), give them $5 kids kash.

**slide 7 while kids are getting lined up

slide 8 has the verse- show this when they are reciting it
