Step 1: Recalling the ICT-Integrated Activities Experienced

Ponder on your background, educational experiences and prior knowledge and skills on
how information, communication and technologies (ICTs) were successfully used by your
teachers in your respective specialization (English, Filipino, Math, Science, etc.) and describe
how these were used to help you understand your lessons. Get a paper to scribble your
recollections. Write a least five lessons vis-à-vis the ICT tools and a short description of how
they were used.

When we was in my Senior High School days, we remember how our teacher in
Philippine Politics and Governance, Mrs. Mary Franz Tatel-Tejada delivered her lesson in our
class through use of different ICTs tools. She conveyed clearly and well her prepared lesson for
us because aside from she knows very well how to use and handle the tools, she smoothly
managed how to integrate it in the lesson. We enjoyed every time she tackle the lessons
because we understand well the lessons and the learning materials she used during the
discussion is very adequate for us. PowerPoint presentation, video presentation through the use
of laptop, LCD projector as well as the audio speaker helps her to disseminate the intended
learning and for us to aid in understanding the lesson.

Ma’am Mary Franz really love ICT tools. She made us to do reporting and let us present
it in the class with the associate of ICT tools. She made us also do video presentation, make it
creative through the use of different online platforms which is very advantage for us since our
technological babies. She let us associate with ICT for us to have background about it.

Examples of ICT tools are PowerPoint, Audio speaker, Projector, Printers and Laptop.
Let’s say in the lesson of Circular Flow of Economic Activity, PowerPoint will and Projector will
use in order to show the presentation of the flow Chart, in the lesson of the Basic Economic
Activities, audio speaker, laptop and projector will be utilize in presenting a documentary video
showing how economic activities does work, in the lesson of Economic Growth and
Development, PowerPoint, Laptop and Projectors will be used to show the presentation and
chart of the Philippines economic growth and development, the lesson about the Theories of
Evolution, Projector, PowerPoint, Laptop and Printers will be utilize to present the different
theories as well as the photos of every author of the theories and last in the lesson about Rizal’s
life, LCD Projector, Laptop and Audio speaker will be utilize in showing and presenting different
documentary videos about the Rizal’s life.
