Fashion owes Gianni Versace, he made the most challenging designs between
the 70s and 90s. Gianni challenged the concepts of femininity of the time with
his designs, seeking to encourage women to retake
possession of their bodies through the power of clothing,
Both his designs and the catwalks were inspired by Greek
mythology, typical of the place where he was born.
Versace established his own company in 1978 and presented his first women's
collection at the Museo della Permanente in Milan.
Neither popularity nor haute couture were enough for Gianni, who wanted to
expand much more.
Both from the graphic design of the 90s and from pop fashion,
the most famous prints of the brand were born, such as the
collection of prints by Marilyn Monroe and Vogue.
Gianni mentioned that neither drama nor excess were key to the
success of Versace's designs.
After establishing his brand and it becoming successful, the designer took a
keen interest in buying property, which he would transform to his liking in the
style of Versace. So that's when he acquired the property known as the
Versace Mansion.
which is located in miami beach.
In 2000, after Versace's death, the property was sold for $125 million and
converted into a boutique hotel.
Where Gianni's restaurant is now located in the Villa Casa Casuarina, former
Versace Mansion, it specializes in both a wide selection of wines and gourmet
Italian Mediterranean food, the executive chef is Valter Mancini.
As for the food, it is Italian-style cuisine, always with elegant
accents, exotic ingredients and luxurious dishes.
Both the edible gold of the food and the gold-encrusted pool
are the most exotic of the place.
There are also about 40 tables and a tea room that can be rented for private
events.
