1.

Tell me about yourself

Sure. My name is/ Edrian C. Guillano./ I’m 23 years old./ I live in/ Ibo, Toledo City./ Currently
taking Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English/ at University of the Visayas-Toledo
City Campus./ At the same time,/ I am working as a Visual Artist in Gaisano Grand Group of
Companies./ That being said,/ I have experienced balancing both work and my study/
especially during this time of the pandemic./ It taught me to/ manage my time well/ and be
resilient/ which/ I believe the character that are needed in this position I am applying for./

Are you willing to stop your study to work? If you are to choose between your study and your
work, which one?
Yes, I am open with the idea that I will stop my study, for the meantime, for me to focus on
the trainings and the work itself. Because my main priority for now is to have a job that will
give me good compensation that is enough to help my family and with my personal needs.

Why would you not continue your study?

That is actually the plan, to continue the study while working on this company. Because I don’t
see that as a distraction to perform well. Since we are having a modular mode of learning, I
can take the courses at my spare time or during day offs. Still, my priority is to have a job right
now.

Why did you took English major?

I am honestly not good with English subject, and for that reason, I took the course for me to
better myself in this field.

2. Why did you leave your last job?

I actually love what I was doing. We organize and do the setups for the mall
events, arrange booths for monthly celebrations and promos, and sometime we
take over the customer service booth to entertain customer concerns. With that, I
get to be creative, learn new things, designs and I get to talk to some other
creatives which gives me new ideas on how to do my job. Sadly, the
compensation cannot fully support my needs, and my family’s.

Customer concerns?
I have experienced return request for the undesired items or has just change their
minds. Also, feedbacks of employee’s behavior and many other.

3. Why do you want to work for our company?

I have heard from a very good source, a friend, that this company is well reputed
organization and gives equitable compensation. And that is what I am for today?
4. What is your idea of a good quality customer service?
My idea of quality customer service is being able to provide customers with
friendly, professional service that not only solves their problems or answers their
questions, but also leaves them feeling satisfied with the service they received.

5. How would you handle a call from an angry/irate customer?

The best way to handle them is to have a mindset that Angry customers are the
same with any other customers who need help and a solution to their concerns.
So, I have to stay calm and mask sure to not make it personal, and be goal oriented
at the same time to resolve the problem.

6. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What are your

attributes/good qualities?
I am a working student, and with that I was able to balance both work and study.
So, I believe I have a very good sense of time management. Also, in line with my
previous job, as visual artist, I am open to learn new things and ideas. Thus, I am
willing to be trained. Lastly, I know in myself that I am always committed to
whatever task given to me.

7. What are your salary expectations?

As a beginner, modesty aside, I don’t think I have the right to demand a specific
amount yet. But, my expected number would be ranging from 10 thousand to 15
thousand basic pay. Regardless, I know that this company would compensate
whatever qualifications that I have met that is meant for me.

8. Are you willing to work onsite?

I prefer working for a work from home setting, but if that is the case, I am open for
that but I would want to rethink about it. Still, I wish to have the work from home
setup.
