2.Motivation:

I have here a video entitled, “There was an old


lady who swallowed a fly” (nursery rhyme) after
watching it I will ask you some question base d on
that video that you need to answer. Are you
ready?

3.Presentation:

I will show you a video about the story “The three


wishes) and after that, I will ask you series of
questions to be answered by you.

A poor woodcutter went to the forest to cut
wood. He was about to cut an oak tree when a
fairy appeared and begged him to spare the tree.
The woodcutter was a kind man and did not cut
the tree and the grateful fairy granted him three
wishes. When he reached home he was hungry.
He remembered the fairy and wished for a
sausage. At once, he saw a bowl of the finest
sausage in front of him.

The woodcutter told his wife about the fairy


but she did not believe him. So, he wished that the
sausage would stick on her wife’s nose. Suddenly,
the sausage stuck on her nose! They tried hard to
pull it off but it stuck hard. The woodcutter used
his last wish and wished for the sausage to come
out. The sausage came off and lay on a dish. So
though they had the finest sausage for dinner, they
had used up all the wishes.

The class will be divided into 2 groups. Each Checking the


group will be given 7minutes for the group work of the
activity. Each group will be given a pair of students
pictures, a manila paper, and a marker pen.
The students will create a sentence based on Presentation of student’s works
the given pictures and identify which of the
sentences show reality and fantasy.
