Reporting to – Head – Marketing

Job Role

As a Head for Social Media Marketing, you will be responsible in leading the creation and
execution of all Social media campaigns to achieve the brand objective. You will ignite various
brand engagement programs to enhance the brand perception and audience engagement.

Your Key Responsibilities

 Manage day-to-day operations including conceptualizing the social content calendar,


curating content, coordinating with the creative team, writing editorial copy, planning
promotions & contests, etc.
 Manage aha’s presence on social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, You Tube
and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into
social applications as needed.
 Actively collaborate with the Marketing, PR & Category management teams to strategize
and implement innovative social media campaigns.
 Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and
analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
 Undertake social media research to gain deeper insight into online conversations related
to Telugu media & entertainment industry.
 Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology.
 Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics.
 Oversee the creating and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar which includes
monthly sales objectives and initiatives

Required Experience/Skills:

 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in social media. Preferably from agency background.


 Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
 Professional certification in Google Analytics strongly preferred
 Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite and HubSpot
 Knowledge of blogging ecosystem
 Strong project management/organization skills
 Passion for writing and an eye for creative detail
 In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms. An active presence
online with a Klout score rating of 35 or higher
 Excellent verbal and written skills (Proficiency in Tamil is a must).
 Ability to take full ownership of areas of responsibility, and proactively conceptualize
campaigns.
