Reflective Question

Direction: Select one of the Code of Ethics and elaborate it in your understanding. Explain how it affects
business organizations? Write your answer in your Activity Notebook.

- I choose Integrity. Having integrity in business means operating your organization consistently in
accordance with a strong set of moral values and while following applicable ethical guidelines.
Integrity can also be defined as “the state of being whole and undivided”. In a business context,
this means operating with consistency in interactions at all levels and representing the
organization in an honest and consistent way to all stakeholders. Operating a business with
integrity will make customers feel safe and secure. They won't feel taken advantage of and
they'll want to keep giving you their business time and time again. They'll recommend you to
others and become your greatest advocates. Attracting employees with integrity.

Which ethic or theory do you like most? Why?

The theory that I like the most is the Virtue ethics is a philosophy developed by Aristotle and other
ancient Greeks. It is the quest to understand and live a life of moral character. I like this its because This
character-based approach to morality assumes that we acquire virtue through practice. By practicing
being honest, brave, just, generous, and so on, a person develops an honorable and moral character. So,
virtue ethics helps us understand what it means to be a virtuous human being. And, it gives us a guide
for living life without giving us specific rules for resolving ethical dilemmas. It is also represent to my
character, because I am a virtuous human being too. I love sharing my blessings to others its not
because someone told me nor ask me to do but because it is my own will to do.
