1.0 INTRODUCTION

Human Resources Information System (HRIS) are systems that collect, store, analyze and
disseminate data to multiple stakeholders. Human Resources (HR) have been able to focus less
on repetitive administrative activities and more on the organization’s strategic goals after the
implementation of HRIS. The importance of having HRIS within an organization makes it
easier for HR to find and manage information. There are a few important things which are:

• With all the information, HR can more easily access what they need, track how it
was being used and change it when necessary.
• A computer is easier and faster to track and adjust accrued time off and the unused
amount than a spreadsheet.
• Small organizations can use HRIS to streamline their HR activities. Employee
boarding, leave management and benefits administration are all tasks that can be
accomplished faster.
• Easy-to-use software that automates many components of recruiting including
sourcing, screening, paperwork and onboarding to greatly reduce human time and
effort spent in hiring.

There is a lot of vendors or software that provide the system to manage off to be used
for HR at the organization. But, not all of the vendor has good module or features that can make
easier work for the administrative activities. Therefore, there are several modules or features
that we have been discussed that shows the most important thing to keep the data or the
information of the employee at the organization.

Regarding the software features above, all of the six was really important element to
keep the data and it will make the work of administrative easier. HR easily can refer to the data
of the employee who have any issues regarding the payment. They can easily check the time
and attendance of the employee and have a strong enough reason why the employee gets the
amount of their pay.

3.ORACLE

Oracle HCM Cloud is a fully integrated suite of HR software systems offered by global
software providers Oracle. The Oracle HCM Cloud suite can be deployed as a private,
managed, public or hybrid cloud system.

The global HR module of Oracle HCM Cloud covers the essential HR processes
including; employee records, workforce optimization, and analytics. The talent management
aspects of the HR system include the entire employee process from acquisition to learning and
progression.

Other aspects of Oracle HCM Cloud include workforce rewards, management, and
social tools. Each of these tools and features can be applied individually or integrated as one
package. A cloud-based HRMS, Oracle HCM can be accessed via desktop and mobile devices
with a web browser, or via their native iOS and Android apps.

4.SAP

SAP HCM is a global HRMS platform for integrated HR and payroll solutions offered
by German multinational software providers, SAP. SAP HCM incorporates many core HR and
Payroll functions including compliance, benefits, recruitment, and time and attendance. The
HRMS solutions are available through several deployment options including on-premise, on-
demand, and on mobile devices.

The HRMS solution is built for global enterprises with 50 country-specific versions
providing legal compliance and best practices across a multinational business. This compliance
is regularly maintained with over 1000 legal changes per year to the HRMS products. A further
39 country-specific SAP HCM versions are available from SAP partners.

Business analytics is integrated into SAP HCM, with the recently acquired
SuccessFactors providing solutions for workforce planning and HR data. SuccessFactors cloud
function integration into SAP HCM allows managers and executives to visualize more than 40
HR metrics and over 90 measures to help formulate strategies for the current business climate
as well as those based on “what-if” situations. Analytics functionality is also integrated with
SAP HCM reporting tools.

Talent Management functionality is built into SAP HCM with cloud solutions for
compensation, learning, performance and goals, recruiting, succession and collaboration. SAP
HCM also offers time and attendance management which can be easily updated and monitored
through employee and manager self-service. This self-service access to SAP HCM can take
place on-site or through mobile devices. Users of SAP HCM include power and automation
technology group ABB, oil and gas company Statoil and portfolio and strategic holding
company Haniel.

4.0 CONCLUSION

Therefore, we chose to go with UKG Pro as our vendor. This vendor meets all of the
criteria we're searching for. UKG Pro was aimed at companies with more than 1,000 employees
that would like to combine HR and finance into a single programming framework. Employers
can use UKG Pro to manage all aspects of employee culture, including compensation,
disciplinary action, payroll, recruitment, time and attendance, and vacation. UKG Pro can also
help managers better prepare for future needs and growth using predictive analytics and tools,
all while taking care of today’s data with a few clicks. UKG also offers services to help
company such as, company needs assistance managing UKG Pro, ACA requirements,
payments, or printing needs, UKG Pro can help with such a wide range of services and
offerings. The company will receive the necessary assistance to allow the company to move
into the future smoothly and gracefully. UKG Pro is designed with global organizations in
perspective, with consistency, restitution, and benefit arrangements that are all tailored to broad
locations. UKG Pro is also accessible, which gives directors and employees access to self-
administration via a fully responsive interface on their phones or tablets.
