Presenter Bios:
Tania Castillo: Tania Castillo is a student attending Alverno College, she lives in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin . She is in her third year majoring in Art Therapy. Ever since she was a child she
enjoyed creating art and helping others. Her mother and father are two people who inspired her
to create art, as they were also both very artistic. She has worked with different mediums and
enjoys painting with acrylics and watercolors. In her field experiences she has worked with
children between the ages of 5-13 and elderly people.
Kara Marie White: Kara White is a student at Alverno College majoring in Art Education and
Art Therapy, and minoring in Art History. She currently lives in Milwaukee Wisconsin, but grew
up in the suburbs of Chicago. She has always had a passion for art and often tries to explore as
many mediums as possible. She currently works at a before and after school program for
elementary school students, but hopes to eventually teach art at the high school level.
Kaitlin Powers: Kaitlin Powers, more commonly known as Kaity Powers, her purpose was and
still is creating art from a very young age after discovering what art could emotionally offer her.
She has found herself helping others as a talent, and she hopes to continue to lead others through
the use of imagination, creativity, and of course kindness. She currently lives in Sussex,
Wisconsin and attends Alverno College where she majors in Art Education/Art Therapy and
outside of class works as a mentor to individuals with Autism.
