REMOVAL

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION

a In the event of replacement, apply the before repair


procedure using the Diagnostic tool :

- connect the Diagnostic tool,

- select "Instrument panel",

- go to repair mode,

- display the "Before/after repair procedure" for the


computer selected,

- carry out the operations described in the "Before


repair procedure" section.

a Switch off the ignition.

a Put the steering column into the lower position.

a Insert a tool (Ms. 1872) at each end of the instru-


ment panel as illustrated above at (3) .

a Press lightly (4) on both tools (Ms. 1872) towards


the ends of the instrument panel.

a Unclip the instrument panel at (5) using the two tools


(Ms. 1872).

a Remove the instrument panel.

a Disconnect the instrument panel connector.

a Remove:

- the instrument panel,
a Unclip the instrument panel surround (1) according
to the direction of the arrows (2) . - the tools (Ms. 1872) from the instrument panel.

a Switch on the ignition.
LEFT-HAND DRIVE, and EXPORT EQUIPMENT a In the event of a replacement, apply the after repair
LEVEL ADDITIONAL procedure using the Diagnostic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool,
- select "Instrument panel",
- go to repair mode,
- display the "Before/after repair procedure" for the
computer selected,
- carry out the operations described in the "After re-
pair procedure" section.

a Remove:
- the instrument panel bolt (6) ,
- the instrument panel according to the direction of
the arrow (7) .
a Disconnect the instrument panel connector.
a Remove the instrument panel.

REFITTING

I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART


CONCERNED
a Connect the instrument panel connector.
a Clip the instrument panel onto the dashboard.

LEFT-HAND DRIVE, and EXPORT EQUIPMENT


LEVEL ADDITIONAL
a Refit the instrument panel bolt.

II - FINAL OPERATION

LEFT-HAND DRIVE, and EXPORT EQUIPMENT


LEVEL ADDITIONAL
a Refit the instrument panel surround.

Note:
The oil change interval must only be reinitialised
after a service in accordance with the maintenance
booklet.

REINITIALISING THE DISPLAY AFTER A SERVICE


IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MAINTENANCE
PROGRAMME
a Switch on the ignition.

a Select the « OIL CHANGE INTERVAL » information
on the display (1) by pressing the « Trip computer
scroll » button (2) .
a Keep the button (2) pressed for 10 seconds :
- the value on the display flashes 4 times,
- the value is replaced by the reinitialised oil change
interval value,
- this new value flashes 4 times.
a Release the « Trip computer scroll » button (2) .
The value illuminates continuously and is stored.
a Switch off the ignition.

II - LOCATION OF COMPONENTS

In the case of disconnection and reconnection, apply


the after repair procedure using the Diagnostic tool :
138067 - connect the Diagnostic tool,
The multimedia network interface unit is located behind
the instrument panel, regardless of the driver's side. - select "Navigation aerial",

- go to repair mode,

- display the "Before - after repair procedure" for the


navigation aerial,

- carry out the operations described in the "After repair


procedure" section.
