Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

Organized by I am M.A.D. (Making A Difference), BIDA Eskwela (Bigay-Ayuda para sa

Eskwela) is a digital fundraising campaign in support of the adaptive education
implementation in the Philippines in light of the ongoing pandemic. Now on its second year, it
aims to raise at least Php 200,000.00 in 50 days from August 5 to September 24, 2021 to
send support to 20 initial school beneficiaries in mostly underprivileged and remote
communities in the country.
This Memorandum of Understanding outlines the responsibilities of the BIDA Eskwela,
herein represented by its Project Lead, SARAH BUTAD, hereinafter referred to as the “BIDA
Project Lead”;

and

Dumalogdog Elementary School, BIDA Eskwela Partner Beneficiary, herein represented by its duly
authorized officer, Albert D. Hisoler, hereinafter referred to as the “BIDA Partner”

WITNESSETH: that

● the BIDA Project Lead together with various organizations have conducted a fundraising
campaign;
● the BIDA Project Lead serves as the Overall Lead of BIDA ESKWELA together with its
BIDA Angels (team members)
● the BIDA Project Lead will allot to the Co-BIDA cash donation for their respective project
initiatives;
● the BIDA Project Lead and/or BIDA Angels will conduct monitoring of the use of the cash
donation;

NOW, THEREFORE, RECOGNIZING the foregoing premises, the parties hereby agree on the
following terms and conditions representing the responsibilities of the parties:

The BIDA Project Lead:

a. will release the cash, through bank/fund transfer, representing the donation to the BIDA Partner;
b. will conduct monitoring of the use of the cash donation given to the BIDA Partner;
c. will continue to provide technical assistance to the BIDA Partne; and
d. will document the progress of the BIDA Partner; in relation with BIDA Eskwela;

The BIDA Partner;

a. will submit to the BIDA Project Lead a complete project proposal or design including the profiles
of target school beneficiary to suit the use of cash donation;
b. will be co-responsible in getting more donors and help promote the BIDA Eskwela call for
donations from its networks and through its social media platforms;

c. will submit the progress report to the BIDA Project Lead, as the BIDA ESKWELA Overall Lead,
as part of the monitoring requirements of the use of the cash donation;
d. will submit a final report of disbursement of funds to the BIDA Project Lead and BIDA Angels
e. will submit a project report on the final outcome and deliverables of its project initiative including
supplementary documentation (within a week of complete implementation) to the BIDA Project
Lead and BIDA Angels;
e. will regularly check and support the I am M.A.D. (Making A Difference) social media accounts for
BIDA Eskwela updates.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
BIDA Eskwela and the BIDA Partner acknowledge and agree to comply with all terms and
conditions contained in this Memorandum of Understanding.
