Subject TLE- Cookery
1. In assessing your students in different levels, are you using the same method/strategy?
Why or Why not?
No, for me as a teacher I will identify first my students differences in learning style
so that I can adjust and make my classroom discussion student friendly by that
way I believe as a students it is easy to pick up knowledge if the classroom setting
is in friendly/comfortable ambiance.
What insights and reflection can you derive from this field study episode?
As instructors and assessors we should be ready, willing and able to give an account of how
and why we instruct, mentor and assess as we do. “Taxonomy” is just another way of
describing an arrangement or classification of things, in this case educational things. Bloom
identified ‘domains’ of educational activities with categories of educational activities within
those domains: Cognitive includes Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis,
Synthesis, and Evaluation. In Bloom’s taxonomy the Cognitive domain describes a
framework of information processing through certain types of activities.
