Definition of Terms
Assessment- Is the methodical foundation for forming conclusions about a student's learning
and growth. It's the process of identifying, choosing, creating, collecting, analyzing,
understanding, and applying data to help students learn.
Community-based- Pertains to a philosophical view wherein societies have a prominent
participation in identifying and addressing issues that are important to them.
Evaluation- Is a method of evaluating a program critically. It entails gathering and evaluating
data on the actions, features, and consequences of a program. Its goal is to perform program
evaluations, enhance program effectiveness, and/or guide organization decides.
Filtering- Is a device used to remove unwanted parts from something.
Framework- is a physical or mental framework designed to support or guide the construction of
anything that grows the structure into something useful.
Hazy- Is anything that is obscured or obscured by misty or haze, or something is hazy, indistinct,
or undefined.
Innovation- The introduction of something new.
Juries- A jury is a group of individuals sworn to provide a truthful verdict based upon the
evidence in a court of law. See also jury trial and petit jury. a group of people chosen to judge
and give prizes in a contest.
Modularization- The process of splitting a system or application into replaceable modules.
Pursuit- an effort to attain.
Wood Table- Is a piece of furniture having a flat surface on which you may place items or sit.
