EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In this practical subject I have studied about the “EMPLOYEES ATTITUDE”.

The project report is divided into various chapters respectively covered as under; in detail.

In chapter 1, I have studied about the complete industrial scenario and working of, Overall
working, SWOT analysis, and some facts and figures related to.

In chapter 2, I understood about the profile of the company selected respectively in detail that is,
Brief History of company, Location of the plant and other branches, Organizational structure and
SWOT Analysis.

In chapter 3, I understood about the topic in detail by studying about it’s meaning, features,
advantages, limitations, process, methods etc.

In chapter 4, It is all about Research papers and Literature reviews in which all the research
papers were studied briefly and conclusions were noted down.

In chapter 5, The business research is usually done with descriptive research design. Selection of
research design purely depend on research problem. The sample size for the project was 100 so I
have used questionnaire as a tool for survey.

In chapter 6, All the analysis of survey questions are done in this chapter and interpretations are
presented.

After all this I have concluded my project.

At last, in bibliography I have attached all the links and references specifically, related to the
information I gathered about respective topic and company for completion of the project.

INTRODUCTION TO INDUSTRY (SECTOR):

Industry Type: Manufacturing high quality injectables for pharmaceutical companies


worldwide.

SOVEREIGN Pharma was established in 2003 as a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO)


with a strong focus on manufacturing high quality injectables for pharmaceutical companies
worldwide.
 
We are a quality focused and WHO-GMP certified manufacturing facility for terminally
sterilized as well as aseptically filled injectables in Ampoules, Vials (Liquid and
Lyophilized), Pre-fill Syringes and Sterile Pre-crimped Cartridges.
 
With a production capacity of around 350 million pieces per annum, SOVEREIGN manufactured
and sold over 1 billion injections by number of doses, in the year 2017-2018.
 
To cope with the needs of the ever-evolving pharmaceutical industry, SOVEREIGN, not shy
of investing, continuously upgrades, by improving on our facilities and systems. We recently
have successfully implemented SAP, LIMS, QMS and DMS*, at our manufacturing site,
in order to further strengthen our already robust quality system.

SOVEREIGN has four manufacturing suites, three containing Ampoule lines, one


containing a Vial line, (with a lyophilizer) and a dedicated machine for Ready-to-Fill
Syringes and Cartridges.
 
All four suites are independent of each other, starting from the issue of primary packaging
materials all the way to the exit of finished goods.
 
These suites are equipped with dedicated AHU’s, pre and post autoclaves, integrated washing
, dehydrogenation, filling and sealing lines, camera inspection systems, labelling and final packing
machines.

Company Mission: To cope with the needs of the ever-evolving pharmaceutical industry,
SOVEREIGN, not shy of investing, continuously upgrades, by improving on our facilities and
systems. We recently have successfully implemented SAP, LIMS, QMS and DMS*, at our
manufacturing site, in order to further strengthen our already robust quality system.

INTRODUCTION TO TOPIC:

The term employees attitude refers to While most people are well acquainted with the term
“attitude,” it is entirely different when it comes to employee attitude. It can mean different things
to diverse people. However, employee attitude definition basically includes characteristics such
as interest in the job, working without constant supervision, taking a positive dimension of
things, always ahead of the game and lastly, employee’s willingness to contribute. To assess
employee attitude, formulas have been developed and applied.

Objectives:

1. To know the employees‟ psychological behaviour towards the organization.

2. To know the reasons for the employees‟ positive attitude.

3. To know the reasons for the employees‟ negative attitude.


4. To know the employees‟ expectations from the organization.

5. To make suggestions to improve the attitude of the employees to the management.

6. To study the attitude of the employees towards private organization.


LITERATURE REVIEW:

1). Srivastav A. et al. (2015) conducted research on “A Study on Employees Attitude


Towards The Organization and Job Satisfaction”. Objectives of the study were to know the
employees attitude towards the organization, to know the reasons for the employees positive
attitude, to know the reasons for the employees’ negative attitude, to know the employees
expectations from the organization. Methodology used was primary data for the present study.
The primary data was collected from 180 sample respondents from Alstom Power Projects
Limited, Durgapur. For collecting the first-hand information from the respondents, sample
respondents were chosen by convenience sampling method. The research concludes that Job
Security is a potential tool for the motivation of the employees which in this study shows that,
the employees have a negative attitude towards it. The management may make the employees
understand that they are the partners of the business and the employees’ organization life
depends up on the constructive contributions made by them.

2). Das S. (2020) conducted research on “A study on Employee Attitude at the workplace and
its relationship with Organizational outcome with special reference to the Iron and steel
industries”. Objectives of the study were to validate the major employee attitude measures that
are a new measure and has not been widely tested, and to investigate the relationships between
three employee work attitudes (job satisfaction, organizational identification, and psychological
well-being) as mediator variables between individual attitude at work and three organizational
outcomes. Methodology used in the study was descriptive research design method. The research
concludes that there exists a significant relationship between the attitude of employees and
organizational commitment. Here, HRM intensity is linked to intrinsic job satisfaction of
employees as well as organizational commitment potentially contributing to the performance of
the organizations. This study will help the academicians as well as policy analysts by adopting
more intensive HRM regimes that involve participation, team-working, and practice domains.
3). Khan I. (2014) conducted research on “Impact of Attitude on Employees Performance: A
study of textile industry in Punjab, Pakistan”. Objective of the study was probe the
association among employee performance and their attitude. In this context current study analyze
that how factors related with attitude impact on employee performance. Methodology used in the
study was Questionnaire and Sampling method. The research concludes that Employees’ good
performance is very essential for the effectiveness of the organization. As discussed above there
are many factors that effect the performance of the employees and as well as of the organization.
The descriptive statistics result proved that all the variables (attitude, job satisfaction, job
commitment, training and motivation) are positively affecting the performance of the employees.

4). Jayarathna D. et al. (2014) conducted research on “The effect of employees work related
attitudes on employee job performance: A study of vocational education system in Sri
Lanka”. Objectives of the study were to identify the relationship between job satisfaction and
job performance employees, to identify the relationship between organizational commitment and
job performance employees, to identify the relationship between job involvement and job
performance employees and to find the impact of the job satisfaction, Organizational
commitment and job involvement on job performance employees. Methodology used in the
study was primary method. The research concludes that According to the frequency distribution
analysis was made individually for the variables of job satisfaction, organizational commitment,
and job involvement. The mean value of the distribution for job satisfaction was 3.6624 and it
depicted that the respondents (employees of tertiary and vocational education sector in Sri
Lanka) were “satisfied” with their job. According to the frequency distribution analysis of the
variable of the organizational commitment, mean value of the distribution is 3.3249 and it shows
the respondents (employees of tertiary and vocational education sector in Sri Lanka) were
“committed” to their organization.

and or negative attitude and what tends to the same.
