Introduction
A digital portfolio is aimed at employers and other tutors. A digital portfolio shows all the

work that has been done and any extra activities.. My digital portfolio will show any future

employers or tutors my skills and achievements I have achieved. It will also show all the

assignments I have done for this course.

My digital portfolio will show all my work i have done throughout the course and my skills

and achievement i have achieved. It will include a page for each unit I do in this course with

a summary of what each of the units include.

2. Profile Page
2.1. About Me.

My name is Zaynab Ali and I am 16 years old. I am currently at Shipley college. I previously

went to dixons city academy.

2.2. Purpose.

I have created this portfolio for any future tutors or employers to see the work I have done.

They will also be able to see my skills and past achievements.

3. Future Page.
The importance of planning the future is so you know where you want to be and how to get

there. It is also important to know where you want to be in the future so you know what

you need to do in order to get there.

3.1 Next Steps

I want to have finished this course by the end of this year.

3.2 Two Year Plan

In two years time i want to have finished the next level of this course.

3.3 Five Year Plan

In five years time I want to be in University . i will achieve this with my qualifications.

4. Units.
4.1 Unit 1 - The online world

Unit 1 the online world is an exam unit which is done online. It is about services and

software that are used online. It also teaches the different ways people can communicate

with each other online. I will also learn how the devices store and exchange information

and the issues of the online world.

4.2 Unit 2 - Technology Systems

Unit 2 is also an online exam unit. This unit teaches how the parts of the computer work

together to make the computer work. I will also learn how data flows around the computer

to process and provide information and the different types of software.

4.3 Unit 9 - Spreadsheet development

This unit includes understanding the uses of spreadsheets in real life. It includes designing,

creating and reviewing a spreadsheet. It will also include learning how to create a

spreadsheet using the tools and features of spreadsheet. I will also understand the uses

and how to use the different features available in a spreadsheet.

4.4 Unit 11 - Computer Networks

This unit is understanding what computing networks are and how they are used by people

daily. This unit also includes designing, developing, testing and reviewing a computer

network. I will also understand how computer networks affect your experience of the

internet. I will also understand the different issues of computer networks and how quickly

they transfer data across networks under different conditions.

4.5 Unit 13 - Website Design

This unit is understanding what a website is and looks like and what the features are of a

website. It also is understanding how a website works. It also includes designing,

developing, testing and reviewing a website and gaining feedback from others. I will explore

what websites are and how the different applications and software work together to make

the website work on different devices.

I have chosen to use the designs shown above because it would allow the user to read the

information easily and the user will be able to see which page they are on by the navigation

bar being at the top. The user will also be able to easily navigate through the website and

read the information on the website.

I did not choose to use the designs shown above because the user would not be used to

the navigation on the side because most websites have their navigation bar along the top

of the website.

12. User Feedback.

My peer said “ there is a good use of pictures” and they also said that my website is easy to

navigate and find what you need.

Another peer has said the pictures need to be more relevant to the page it was placed on.

13. Conclusion.

I have learned that in order to create an efficient website you need to first design the

website before creating it and once created it needs to be tested to see if it works on
