ABSTRACT
Disturbances in comfort during pregnancy can have an impact on pregnant women,
namely the quality of sleep. According to research in America, about 70 million
people experience sleep problems where the prevalence of sleep deprivation in
women is higher than men. Around 78% of pregnant women experience sleep
problems including in the third trimester that reach about 66-97%. One of the efforts
that can be done to overcome the sleep quality of pregnant women in the third
trimester is self-hypnosis. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self
hypnosis on the sleep quality of pregnant women in the third trimester in the Working
Area of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Ubud Health
Center 1.
There was an increase in the quality of pregnant women in the third trimester after
self hypnosis yoga therapy was performed with p value = 0.001. It was concluded
that there was an effect of Self Hypnosis on the sleep quality of third trimester
pregnant women in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Ubud
Health Center 1.
