- Born in Grand Rapids Michigan
- Lived in Grand Rapids all my childhood, and the rest of my life in Wyoming
- I go to Lee High School
- My interest after school is to go to Grand Valley State University, and study for
Ultrasound Technician.
- I am involved in Student Council and am President, also a Student Leader coordinator,
also involved in Spanish Club, also am a Capstone Coordinator.
- My parents have influenced my achievement in my school career.

Future Goals

- Finish High School

- Find a job during University
- To finish college at GVSU
- Find a successful job in my graduating career
- Buy a house
- Finish my career as an Ultrasound Technician.

- Study a week before each exam or test to be prepared.

- Start and finish homework as soon as possible
- Work on procrastinating during college, because I have struggled a lot with
procrastination through high school.
- Look for peers to study with and or have people who I can contact whenever i need
help.
 - Make sure I have an advisor to talk to for classes, so i can be prepared and not be lost.

A community/work issue that can be solved with a particular skill set from your career

I will be think of my community that is low income, and using my skills to serve and help the
single mothers for various options, their budget, and also if they have questions, recommend
people to people i know from the medical field.

My potential hands-on will be:

*This will be where you will showcase what you created that addresses a community/work
issue.
I will be working alongside Mrs. Snyder and Mrs. Merriott, to organize all seniors in similar
career pathways in the same area. This will include looking at all the options seniors chose
and organizing how they will fit together with each other. As well I will help with organizing the
things that will need to be purchased!
- Greet and assign spots to Seniors
- Make sure anybody needs help (everything is running smoothly)
- Help judges find the Seniors they are viewing.
- Help set up and tear down, make sure everything is back to normal after.
- Budgeting things we need to purchase.
- Market the capstone to the community and too students, also make pages on social
media to help seniors with work during capstone.

1. What personal interest do you have in this topic? Why have you chosen this topic for your
Senior Project/Showcase?
I love customer service and helping people who are in the process of a pregnancy as
well. I chose this topic because I will attend GVSU to pursue and complete my career as an
Ultrasound Technician. I also chose this topic because it was my interest which is customer
service.

2. What research questions will you seek to answer? What kinds of sources might you look
for?
What knowledge would you need to know about this topic before going to study?
How does the process of choosing the specific area of the career work?
I would talk and interview with my mentor.

3. Who is a person/company (specifically, or in general) with experience or expertise in this

field you might interview? What understanding do you hope to gain from this
person/company?
I found Moriah Moore on the mentors that were provided on the capstone website. She
works at spectrum health as an ultrasound technician. I hope for her to give me a more
understanding of how the field works and ask if it is like how I have heard of my research. Also
have her help me find the specific area I want in this field.

4. What situations, events, or places could you observe or experience to gain insight into
your topic?
I can shadow my mentor.
