Week 3 GM:

HF Training
Volunteers Of The Week: Andrewtrung Le
“I joined VCH because I wanted to give to
the Vietnamese community I grew up in. I
also think the club’s quarterly Health Sites
and Health Fair encourage people to be
more proactive in taking care of their own
health, which is a mission that I value
strongly. I’m also happy I joined because I
dearly love my fellow members and staff,
and I will always cherish the memories of
distributing flyers, recording BMI values,
and taking the blood pressures of patients
alongside my greatest friends here at
UCLA.”
Volunteers Of The Week: Quang Truong
“I joined VCH because I grew up seeing a
couple of my relatives in the OC area struggle
with receiving proper health care services, so I
was motivated to help others that were
trapped in similar situations. I like VCH because
OC was always a second home to me so
helping underprivileged individuals in this area
allows me to help the community that played a
big part in my childhood. Last Sunday’s health
site was great because I got to see how much
VCH informs people on their personal health
since many are unaware of their blood
pressure, eye vision, and weight.”
