CHAPTER 3: MOBILITY ACCESS IN TAGAYTAY

Tagaytay City is located at Cavite, Philippines and it is categorized as a component city of the
province. Tagaytay is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country due to its iconic views
and cool climate. This travel destination has a great accessibility which is one of the factors that
influenced both domestic and foreign tourists to patronized the place.

Tourists may transport to Tagaytay via Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) vis
buses and the travel will take for about two to three hours. However, the tourists can also avail private
cat for faster and comfortable trip via SLEX Sta. Rosa, which is the route of most public transport.

Most tourists go to Tagaytay City directly from Manila which may take 1-1.5 hour trip via buses,
private cars and jeepney. Travelers may also avail the fastest way to travel Manila to Tagaytay which
cost 1,000php-1,300php and the trip will take for one hour. Shared vans bound from Nasugbu,
Calatagan, or Lemery Pass through Tagaytay are also available which the tourists can avail. For cheaper
transportation services, tourists may also take a bus from Pasay Terminal to Tagaytay although it may
take longer time to travel.

Tourists will not have a problem to get around the area as Tagaytay is not a large city. Public
transportation such as jeepney and trikes are available in the rea which the tourists can avail whenever
they want to visit some of the famous tourists destinations that are present in the city of Tagaytay.
