IMAM BUKHARI UNIVERSITY
Tauheed Educational Trust (TET) is a distinguished academic and charitable institution in North-East India
situated at Kishanganj, Bihar. TET is moving towards its goal very amicably since a decade & has added many
feathers to its hat in academia. It has provided both contemporary and theological education to the people. TET
aims to serve the under-privileged masses by empowering them through education.

TET has taken up many educational initiatives in theological fields such as, Jamiatul Imam Al-Bukhari for boys
and Jamia Ayesha Al-Islamia for girls. Madrasa Usman and Madrasa Hafsa Li-Tahfeezil Quran Al-Kareem. While for
Contemporary/ Modern education it runs AMS International School (CBSE) & for Technical Education, Tauheed
Institute of Engineering and Technology (ITI College), TET is also behind the efforts for Darul Aitaam- an institute
dedicated to serve the orphans.

State of the art infrastructure is setup in all our institutions. The certificate issued by our institutions are
recognized and accepted across various universities in India and abroad, such as- Jamia Millia Islamia, Jawaharlal
Nehru University, Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic & Persian University, Bihar State Madrasa Education Board,
Islamic University of Madina Munawwarah, Jamiatul Imam Mohammad bin Saud Islamic University, Al-Qassim
University and University of Ummul Qura etc. This educational garden was planted by Late Abdul Matin
(Rahimahullah). He was the founder and former president of Tauheed Educational Trust. Now TET is managed by
his son Mutiur Rahman and he is the current Chairman of Tauheed Educational Trust by the grace of Allah (SWT).

OBJECTIVES IMAM BUKHARI UNIVERSITY
•To provide instructions, teaching and training in Higher Education and make provisions for research,
advancement and dissemination of knowledge.
• To achieve higher levels of intellectual abilities.
•To establish state of the art facilities for education and training.
•To carry out teaching and research and offer Continuing Education Programmes (CEP).
•To create centers of excellence for research & training.
•To establish various campuses in Bihar.
•To establish Examination Centers.
•To grant Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates and other academic distinctions on the basis of examination, or
any such other means.
•To ensure that the standards of Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates and other academic distinctions are not
lower than those laid down by AICTE, NCTE, UGC, MCI, Pharmacy Council of India and other statutory
bodies established by the Government of India for regulation of Higher Education and Technical Education.
•To open Study Centers within its jurisdiction.
•To set up off-campus centers within and out of the State, subject to the permission of the regulatory bodies
ordained by the Government.
•To pursue any other objective as may be approved by the Government.

Imam Bukhari University is an endeavour of Tauheed Educational Trust, Spread over 22 acres of lush greenery. Imam
Bukhari University offers world-class education to students from India and abroad- by providing a learning experience
designed to develop social & intellectual abilities. The university is committed to providing a rigorous academic
environment to equip students with knowledge, skills, insights, attitudes and practical experience in order to enable them
to become discerning citizens.
As the scope of the Education in India today is widening rapidly and is spreading swiftly across ever expanding limits of
time and space beyond the constraints of social, cultural and language differences, Imam Bukhari University aims to
establish a seat of excellence for the education of associated discipline and to facilitate multidisciplinary research to deal
with the complexities of a human settlement as a whole.

PREAMBLE
This project report envisages to set up a private
university named “Imam Bukhari University” at
Mahadabad, Kishanganj, in the campus of TET
Kishanganj. A reputed educational and charitable
institution which has ten such projects to its name-
offering a pretty mixture of modern, technical,
vocational and religious education. The project report
has been prepared as per the provisions and
requirements of the Bihar Private Universities Act 2013.
VISION
IMAM BUKHARI UNIVERSITY has a VISION to Sustain &
Preserve the Traditional Indian Culture by Augmenting the
Ancient System of Teaching & Training from getting it
withered out in tranquility. Herein our efforts are to
rejuvenate the Educational Culture by following Student-
Teacher platonic relationship.

A systematic- state sponsored upliftment of the Muslim community is the need of
the hour, especially in the economically weaker sections of the society to curb the wealth
