Reflection:

This semester has been really eye opening and a great learning process for how life will
be when I become a teacher. All of that was to prepare me for this assignment which can I just
say was the activity that put everything in the most perspective. Obviously I know how much
work goes into teaching and creating lesson plans and having it all come together but nothing
could have prepared me for just how time-consuming this whole process is. I learned a lot about
not only how to compile everything into one Lesson plan and be as descriptive as possible so that
if someone were to recreate the lesson they can actually understand and do it correctly. It was a
very tedious process that I started about two weeks from the actual assignment date and can I just
say it took me up till the night of to do the finishing touches and ensure that I was submitting
something I was proud of. It took a lot of playing around with the website and adding tabs and
editing the pictures the lesson plans. Which really helps me think about how it will be when I
actually do have my own students in my own classroom and preparing the lesson plans and
ensuring that I have all of the references all of the materials everything I would need to actually
put my plan into action.

Now that we are coming to the end of the semester I can say that this class has prepared
me for not only the language arts aspect of the classroom and how I can engage students in that
way but as well as everything that goes on in more in depth with the lesson plans and the things
you have to think about as a teacher apart from the normal things. And I think even nowadays
having a more inclusive and more broad mindset is what's needed and I feel like this class has
definitely prepared me to do that and especially with this assignment it really puts everything
we've learned this semester to the test. I am very proud of my website and the work I put into it I
did have a few issues especially with the technology aspect of it, which is why I'm glad I started
two weeks ahead and was able to play around with it for more than just a day. Even up till now
the day of I still had a few technology issues that I had to contact the creators of the website with
but I was able to hopefully fingers crossed fix the problem and now have a full website with my
own lesson plans and examples and citations. And reflecting on it now I realize how this
semester has come and gone but I was able to comfortably write these lesson plans and put it
together without as much struggle as I would have had at the beginning of this semester.

To you professor I want to say thank you for this semester it has been a very
knowledgeable an interesting class, thank you for opening my eyes to the different aspects and
perspectives there are in teaching. And how to incorporate specific things in the classroom, all of
your assignments and activities have been very eye opening and a great learning process and
now I feel that I'm prepared to take on teaching and I could not be more excited to graduate. I
hope to take one of your classes again soon until then have a great summer!
