Requirements of test environment, equipment and network:

*Please ensure all the following requirements are available

before entering your test.

1) Test Environment Requirements: The test should be taken in a

closed room where no one will disturb you. It is forbidden to take

the test in public areas such as parks, internet cafes, restaurants, etc.

Computers and keyboards must be placed on a desk or table. No one

else is allowed to enter or leave the room during the test. There must

not be any prohibited items in the test room.

2) Equipment Requirements:

2.1 Computer:

Download and operate ExamClient in a computer that meets

the following requirements:

(1) Windows (7/10) operating system. Mac system cannot be

used.

(2) Screen resolution: 1366*768 or above recommended.

(3) A camera with more than 300,000 pixels, which integrated

into your computer or installed separately.

(4) Speakers and microphones, or a wired headset, which will

be used for communication with the invigilator.

 (5) Download and operate ExamClient (Download link will be

sent afterwards, and Google Chrome browser is suggested for

downloading).

Attention: The exam cannot be taken on mobile devices such as

phones and tablets. (6)Bluetooth connections are prohibited during

the exam, Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and

USB are not available. The use of remote desktop, multi-screen,

screen casting and cloud desktop is prohibited during the examination.

2.2 Mobile phone/Tablet:

A mobile phone/tablet installed with camera and designated

APP called Proctor Assistant will be connected to the video

conference for invigilation.

For Android mobile phone, please download the APP from the

designated link (Download link will be sent afterwards). For iPhone,

please find and download Proctor Assistant from APP Store directly.

Notice:

(1) Online testing room will be open within 1 hour before the

test starts, please log in on time with your Passport or ID card

number and password (identical with those that are applied in

ExamClient).
 (2) After identity and enviroment checking, place the mobile

phone/tablet 1 meter side and rear, so that the invigilator will be able

to see the computer screen and the test taker him/herself.

(3) The mobile phone/tablet should be sufficiently charged so

it wouldn’t turn off during the test.

(4) "Airplane mode" should be turn on and then connected to

WIFI for the mobile phone to avoid any interruption.

2.3 Network:

Upstream and downstream symmetric bandwidth is greater than

or equal to 20M. Internet connection speed to ExamClient should be

150KB/s or above. Please close all other non-exam related

applications during the exam and use the direct network connection to

access the exam.

2.3 Paper and pen:

Pen and no more than 5 pieces of paper will be used for

drafting and answering, please follow the requirements:

(1)A4 format, double-sided blank.

(2)All paper will be checked before the test, and destroyed before

leaving.
