Coursework II: Water Influx Calculations - User Guide

Welcome, user! This page is dedicated as a walkthrough of this Engineering Spreadsheet.

User Input Page

This is where you are expected to enter the static reservoir and pressure data. An example of the data that can be
inputted can be seen below

Water Encroachment angle 360 degrees

Calculations Page
This is where the calculations take place. Based on the user input (in the exact shape mentioned above) the
below quantities are computed.

1. The f factor
2. Calculate for a series of time steps
a. The dimensionless time at each time step
b. The dimensionless water influx at each time step
3. The cumulative dimensionless water influx at each time step (i.e. be able to superpose the solutions
for each successive pressure drop)
In addition to the mentioned computations, the calculation procedure, the equaitons and the principles
can also be found in this page

Pressure Decline Curve Page

On this page the pressure decline is plotted based on the user input data.

Methodology
With an Infinite acting aquifer pressure disturbance is not observed
of our reservoir. The underlying idea behind the approach is to calc

For the effective pressure drops:
The first pressure drop, dP_1 is in effect for the entire
twelve months and the fourth pressure drop, dP_4, is
