 Quadrilateral is a parallelogram if it has two pairs of

parallel sides. Also, quadrilateral is a parallelogram if its
diagonals bisect each other, if both pairs of opposite
angles are congruent, and if one angle is supplementary
to both of its consecutive angles.

Theorems:
1. Each diagonal of a parallelogram divides the
parallelogram into two congruent angles.
2. Opposite sides of a parallelogram are congruent.
3. Opposite angles of a parallelogram are congruent.
4. Any two consecutive angles of a parallelogram
are supplementary.
5. The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each
other
6. If the diagonals of a quadrilateral is a
parallelogram.
7. A quadrilateral is a parallelogram if both pairs of
opposite sides are congruent
8. A quadrilateral is a parallelogram if both pairs of
opposite angles are congruent.
9. A quadrilateral is a parallelogram if both pairs of
sides are both parallel and congruent.
10. If an angle of a quadrilateral is supplementary to
both consecutive angles, then the quadrilateral is
a parallelogram.

 A mathematical system is made up of 3 components:
set of elements; one or more operations for combining
the elements; one or more relations for comparing the
elements.
Postulate is a statement accepted without proof.
Theorem is a statement accepted after it is proved
deductively.
In Proving theorems, properties of Equality and
Congruence are used as basis for reasoning.

Fraction, Decimal and percentage

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yeGXgzJxbQ

Key Notes:
 Converting Fraction to Decimal
You already learned that vinculum or the bar that
separates the numerator and the denominator
indicates division. Therefore, in changing fraction to
decimal we simply divide the numerator by the
denominator. Where, the denominator is the divisor
and the numerator is the dividend

 Converting Fraction to Percent

To convert fractions to percent, we change the fraction
into decimal (by performing division) and move the
decimal point two places to the right; then affix the
percent symbol (%).

 Converting Decimal to Fraction

Decimals as parts of units divided into any power of

10. If a unit is divided into 10 parts, we have tenths;

into 100 parts, we have hundredths; and so on.
Therefore, to change decimal to fraction, we convert a
decimal to a fraction with a denominator in multiples of
10 (10, 100, 1000, etc.) and reduce the said fraction to
lowest terms.

learners. Through
Key Notes: the help of LGU
 A Random Variable is a numerical quantity that is
derived from the outcomes of random experiments.
There are two types of random variables, the discrete
and continuous random variables

Discrete Variable is a numerical value associated

with the desired outcomes. It is also either a finite or
infinite number of values but countable such as whole
numbers.

Continuous Variable has infinite numerical values

associated with any interval on the number line system
without any gaps or breaks.
