1. INFORMATION
NOTE: When leveling the airplane for major rigging checks, the fuel tanks must be empty.

Fuselage fore and aft leveling bar 25Y23A (Ref. ITEM 08-20-02)
Fuselage transverse leveling bar 25Y21A (Ref. ITEM 08-20-01)
Clinometer KS5549 (Ref. ITEM 08-20-04) or equivalent

2. LEVELING AIRPLANE

A. Procedure
(1) With the airplane jacked as described in Chapter 7, (Ref. 07-10-00, 201) and in an area free from
wind and preferably under cover, proceed as follows (Ref. Figure 201):

(a) Mount fuselage transverse leveling bar on the datum bolts on left and right seat rails.

(b) Place the clinometer on the upper surface of the bar.

(c) Adjust the airplane wing jacks until the clinometer reads zero.

(d) Mount fuselage fore-and-aft leveling bar on the datum bolts on the passenger cabin right
seat rail.

(e) Place the clinometer on the upper surface of the bar.

(f) Adjust the airplane rear jack until the clinometer reads zero.

(g) Recheck fuselage transverse level.

3. WEIGHING AIRPLANE
For weighing procedures and loading data, refer to Section 6 of the Airplane Flight Manual.
