Print the Test Assignment List and Tickets

You can select to export and print either the list or the tickets from the Export menu
drop-down. The printed list and tickets may be useful as a reference copy. Printed
tickets may be distributed to students when they need to log into TestNav and returned
to the proctor for reuse at a later time.

Print the Test Assignment List

The Test Assignment List can be exported as a comma-separated value (.csv) or an
Excel (.xlsx) spreadsheet. The spreadsheet includes the credentials and information for
all selected students.
To print the Test Assignment List:

1. Select the student(s) and click Export. The Export menu is displayed.

2. Select Test Assignment List - CSV (.csv) or Test Assignment List - Excel (.xlsx).

3. When the file is ready, the   notification icon is lit. Click the notification icon,
and in the popup click the   attachment icon. The file opens. The following
figure illustrates the file.

4. Select options for your system to print or save the file.

Print the Test Assignment Tickets

The Test Assignment Tickets can be printed to distribute to the students. Choose from
three different PDF test ticket formats for the selected students, up to 50 pages. The
system assigns each student one set of credentials, which is used for all of a student's
test assignments. So, for example, if the student has three test assignments in the Test
Assignment List, printing the ticket for the student will only include one ticket for that
student.
These are the available formats:
Box format
The box format prints a 2.5" by 3.5" ticket (approximate dimensions) for each student in
the list. There are six tickets on a page. These could potentially be printed, cut apart,
and laminated for reuse throughout the school year.

Label format
The Label format prints up to 30 tickets on a page. The labels are 1" x 2.625" standard
label size. This format is specifically designed to be used with Avery 5160 labels or
equivalent that is available from any office supply store.  These could potentially be
printed, cut apart, and laminated for reuse throughout the school year.
We recommend putting these labels on note cards.

Strip format
The strip format prints a 1.20" by 3.8" ticket (approximate dimensions) for each student
on the list. There are six tickets on a page.

To print the tickets:

1. Select the student(s) and click Export. The Export menu is displayed.

2. Click Test Assignment Tickets.

3. Select a ticket format.

4. Your selected format creates a file. When the file is ready, the   notification
icon is lit. Click the icon, and in the popup click the   attachment icon.
o The file downloads automatically with a system-assigned filename. In
Windows, the file is listed at the bottom of your screen and is also saved
to your Download folder.
o Click the filename to open it. Your file may open in Adobe Reader by
default. To select other ways to open the file, click the arrow next to the
filename. For help setting a system viewer, please contact your local
administrator.
o To print the open file, click the Print icon.
o Alternately, to save and rename the file before printing, you can click
the Download icon at the top of Adobe Reader (this opens a Save As
form) or click the drop-down next to the folder name and select Show in
folder or go directly to your Download folder and rename/copy the file into
your work folder.
5. Print options differ among Adobe Reader, your operating system, and your
browser. Ensure that these two print requirements are met.
o In some print dialogs, Auto portrait/landscape is available. The print option
will default to Portrait; do NOT change to Landscape.
o Change any default print option of Fit or Shrink to select Actual Size or
None. Do NOT select Shrink, Fit to Page, or any similar choice for the
Label format test ticket, or the Labels will be misaligned with the Avery
5160 labels.

This example shows a Print dialog that opens when clicking the Print icon in the open
file. In this example, ensure that Fit to Page is NOT selected, and click Print.
This example shows a Print dialog that may open from your Download folder. In this
example, select Actual size (or None, depending on your system) and click Print.
