What is a visualization? Why is it important?

Creating images in your Creating mental images, as if
head based off of the watching a movie while
activities going on in the reading, is important in
reading comprehension
story while reading.
because the reader is able to
obtain a deeper
understanding of the story
that will target long-term
memory.
 How to create a visualization while reading
Make mental images as you read and check to make sure that what

you see in your mind matches what the author is saying in the text.
