Topic: Recognizing cause and effect

Learning objective To understand the relationship between a cause(s) that results in


an effect(s).
Material needed A reading text

The main objective of this literacy tool is to highlight the relationship of a specific cause and effect.
Students can create charts to showcase many cause and effect relationships or to dissect one key
concept. By showing the reason for why an event happened, the student is then able to
understand the connection of the effect which stems from the from the cause.
