approach

negligence, abuse and harm. It promotes welfare that covers heath –wellbeing as well as safe and
effective care. The purpose of adult safeguarding is to safe adults from the risk of negative aspects (i.e.
harm, negligence). Considering the case study of Mackenzie, it is identified that he was a patient of
paranoid schizophrenia and thus, he was unable to cope with the delusional behaviour. Ellie, the
support worker has been taken responsibility of Mackenzie regarding to his care related factors.
