Students enrolled in Inglés 7 are expected to record a one-minute video for their three
assignments with the following formal aspects. Keep in mind that the assignment will not be
evaluated if these aspects are not present:

Choose one of the following tasks and record a 1-minute video to answer to it:
• A. Unit 1: Talk about an object that has changed over the years. Describe the object, explain
the benefits, and the changes it has brought to your life.
• B. Unit 2: Talk about your favorite natural place in Chile. What makes it special? Why do you
prefer it over other places? Provide information to convince future travelers to visit it.
Use vocabulary related to environments and discoveries (p. 12 & p. 14), as well as
comparative (p. 13) & superlative adjectives (p. 15) and useful phrases (p.20).
Assignment 2
Choose one of the following tasks and record a 1-minute video to answer to it:
• A. Unit 3: Talk about what aspects of your personality you like or dislike, and why you think
your personality matches the program you chose to study.
Include the vocabulary on describing personality (p. 22) for your personality, strong feelings
(p. 25) for what you feel about the program you chose and useful phrases (p. 30).
• B. Unit 4: Talk about a meaningful fund-raising event that you would like to create. Mention
the advantages and/or disadvantages that you would face and include the type of people
who would support the cause you chose. Provide information to fully support each stance.
Use vocabulary related to professional relationships (p. 34), assessing ideas (p. 36), adding
emphasis (p. 35) and useful phrases (p. 42).
Assignment 3
Choose one of the following tasks and record a 1-minute video to answer to it:
• A. Unit 5: Talk about how a community project can help people in our city. Mention what
the project would be about and how technology would help you achieve this.
Include the phrases on real conditionals (p. 45) for introducing this hypothetical situation
and vocabulary on willingness and unwillingness (p. 46) for describing your attitude and
useful phrases (p. 52)
• B. Unit 6: Talk about a situation you lived that turned out to be completely unexpected.
Mention what you thought was going to happen and what happened in the end. Provide
information and details to fully comprehend the situation.
Use the functions related to narrative tenses (p. 55), reported speech (p. 57), making
assumptions (p. 59) and useful phrases (p. 62)
