Types of Speech Style
Stylistics is the branch of linguistics that studies and interprets messages based
on their tone and style. Style is something that makes a person unique. Speaker’s style is
the unique way in which the speech message is delivered to the audience.
Communicative competence strategies are aids in enhancing speech styles. Speech
styles are patterns of speaking characterized by distinctive pronunciation.
