Rehab Virar Mumbai (MAHARASHTRA)” in the position of “ CONSULTANT
PHYSIOTHERAPIST ” PART TIME BASS for 8 hours per day 48 hours per week
including home visits since 15th August 2017 to 31st July 2020. The salary was based
on per patient per day partnership and in cash. That may be approximately Rs.
4,50,000 annually.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assess patient’s physical abilities through evaluative procedures such as

Functional Ability Tests.
2. Established treatment goals with patients based on physical diagnosis.
3. Perform detailed and relevant assessment and review the existing medical
records.
4. Examining the muscles, bones and joints by using the techniques of
inspection, palpation and manipulation, various special tests and diagnostic
imaging.
5. Individually designed physiotherapy treatment plans to maintain, improve and
restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in
patient based on the diagnosis.
6. Implementation of physiotherapy treatment programs related to the patient
condition which includes therapeutic exercises, massage, manipulations,
cryotherapy and in the field of ergonomisc such as TENS, ElecticStimulation,
Interferential therapy, Ultrasound, Short Wave Diathermy and Wax bath to
relieve pain, improve circulation & flexibility.
7. Educates, instructs and counsels patients and their families about the
condition and advice the patients on way to prevent further potential health
problems.
8. Educates patients to make use of aids like prosthetics, splints, braces, walker
etc.
9. Monitors and evaluates the patient’s progression and modifying the treatment
accordingly.

10. Communicates with referring physician and health care professionals

regarding the patient problem, needs and conditions.
11. Gait training.
12. Maintain the clinical records and gives out health tips for the better health of
patients.
13. Conducts home visits as required.
14. Personally provided extended care facilities by her during hospital working
hours and home visits also.

She has strong verbal and written communication skills. She is knowledgeable and
enthusiastic in helping people. Her service at out clinic founds to be very much
satisfactory and excellent.
