4. Teaching (What will you do?) (5 points)
I would start of the lesson by reading to my students the book Dragons love Tacos, After I am done reading the book, I would then ask them questions like What caused the dragons to explode? What kind of tacos do the dragons like? Why don’t dragons like spicy salsa on their tacos? After, I finish asking questions to the students, I will then ask my students to go back to their seats. Once every student is back to their seats, I will then ask each of students to grab a paper plate that is found on the table. Once each student has their paper plate, I would then ask each student to color their plate using the markers or crayons to make the taco shell. After they colored and made the taco shell of their taco, I would then ask my students to add all the ingredients they want to their taco using the cut-up tissue paper that is found on the table. They would each glue the different ingredients to their taco. After they finish gluing their tissue paper to their taco. I would then ask my students to each grab their paper plate and once they grab their paper plate, I would then ask them to fold their paper plate into a taco. 5. Closure: (2 points) Once they finished folding their taco, I would then ask them to write on the back of their taco what they think the dragons after the house burned down? Did the dragons help the kid clean the mess they made, or did they just watch the kid clean the house on his own? After they finish writing on the back of their taco, I would then ask each of the students to share what they wrote on the back of their paper the class.
