GRO-KART is the one-stop destination on-campus

pop-up store for everyday needs. This will help to
cater to the everyday needs of the people, especially
for the students which start from the essentials with
ready-to-eat food as well as grocery. In this, we will be
following the EDLP strategy.

Thus, this will provide the solution for the budget issues
and also this will be a time constraint. This also helps to
fix the budget, bridge the gap between time and
distance also helps to estimate the daily pattern
purchase. The main advantage is the unique location
with a first-mover advantage.

Our main focus is on the students and the working

professionals, especially in the academic city. The
other alternatives we have is that there will be home
deliveries, small kiosks serving fast food, popup store,

Description of

OKA RT Product and Service

We had done the primary survey where we found out

that the maximum preferences of the people were for
the mixtures of brands as we have a mixed culture in
the academic city which will help to cater different
kinds of brands Indian as well as International. This will
help to cater to the market in the long run. Our main
focus is on the ready-to-eat food items because the
main issue is the time constraint where people need to
wait for long hours to get the food or any other kind of
service. If we talk about the service then there would
also be an option for home deliveries.

We have focused on students and the working

professional on campus by providing their unique value
proposition with the everyday low price strategy
where they can get the essential item cheaper price
with this we are also providing students with a package
service, under a certain amount they can buy the
products from each and every segment apart from
that with the help of our centralized software the
customers can enter the budgets of their own and find
the relevant product that they want to buy and also
the substitute of that products.

OKA RT Considerations
Everyday low price strategy will be applied in the pop
up store with the help of the digital tab or kiosks set up
in the store where the customers can enter the basic
details such as name and contact details and then
customers and enter their budgets and find the
relevant items from the list from were can they select
and buy. Everyday low price strategy can be
maintained by having D2C business model from where
we will buy the product directly from the manufactures
eliminating the middleman margin.

Process

Enter the category of products you require along

with your budget.

For eg: A consumer require 3 items such as

detergent, toothpaste and shampoo. The software
which will use several permutation and combination
algorithm and find out the from the several brands
which will fall into the budget bracket of the
consumer.

So, the consumer can see the exact location of the

shelf where his or her selected products are kept.
And our staff will assist him to get the products
easily within a shorter duration of time.

We will need Dh 140,000 as something of a seed fund to
build a food shopping with a size of roughly 200 sq.ft.

This does not include the staff's wage

Moreover, we must have a contingency plan in place,

such as a staff's income for at least three months,
everyday living, housing rent, commuting, and so on.

The price of Dh 140,000 comprises the analysis:

Leasing of a store for the next year (shop location i.e.,

Deira, Karama, Bur Dubai etc.).

Charge for obtaining a business license, as well as a

recurring sponsor fee

Visa fees are included (2 employees among partner

visa)

Charge for branch setup (design) etc. must comply

with DED Supermarket standards.)

Around Dh 25,000 worth of stuff were acquired.

You must keep track of audit-related records, such as

daily sales purchase invoices and VAT for ongoing
monitoring.

Aside from the aforementioned, you had to have

sufficient funds for day-to-day living.

To create a bank account with Emirates NBD in Abu

Hail, Dubai, that needs a minimal level of liquidity, I
was requested to deposit AED 50,000.

In usual, customers must repay the fee and any other

payments using a checkbook.

In general, we believe-

To operate a supermarket in Dubai, we'll need at least

Dh 200,000.

This contains at least three months' worth of survival

costs.

OKA Findings

We can see that in the Decision Tree algorithm which

has an accuracy on training set with .927 & testing set
with .951 which suggest that the data is pure and can be
applied instore which is giving the accuracy of 90%.

Therefore, after applying the Random Forest algorithm

the result that we got is that the accuracy of training and
testing 0.933 & 0.951 from the data it interprets that the
preference over the products list has the accuracy of
93.3% which is a strong relation.

The traffic instore is being affected by the product

availability from where we can know that to pull more
customers, we need to go with the random forest
algorithm which is giving a strong relation with the
product and the traffics instore.

As per the first mover advantage and the unique value

proposition that GroKart is providing in campus the
new customer acquisition rate is predicted.
